Christopher “Chris” Kulhavik
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
Chris lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he and his family have made their home and where he works as an entrepreneur. His faith in Christ has shaped how he sees the world: that what a person has been given is meant to be shared, and that a life is measured by the people it lifts.
For a long time he carried a quiet question: how could he do something different for the world, something that would outlast him? He did not have a map. What he had was a willingness to listen, and the kind of friendship that begins when two people on opposite sides of the world decide to trust each other.
That friendship was with Joy in Bangladesh. At the start Chris honestly did not know whether the idea would work, or whether it could ever grow into a mission of this size. But phone calls turned into trust, and trust into partnership, and as the two began serving the families of Gonali together, small miracles began to happen: a child back in a classroom, a family with a warm blanket, a village that started to believe in tomorrow.
Today Chris serves as President, Treasurer and Director of The Yahweh Mission, Inc., guiding its direction and stewardship from Ohio. He is clear about one thing: the mission is not his story. It belongs to the children of Gonali, and to everyone who chooses to walk beside them.

Joy Sarker
Gonali, Satkhira, Bangladesh
Joy lives and works among the families of Gonali, in Satkhira, Bangladesh. He has never served this community from a distance. He knows the names of the children, the stories of their parents and the everyday struggles that no report can fully describe.
For years he helped the people around him at the grassroots, with whatever means he had and asking nothing for himself. There was no organization, no funding and no name, only a young man who could not walk past a neighbour in need.
Then came the phone calls and emails with Chris. A shared love for people became a friendship, and the friendship became a partnership. For the first time Joy could see something he had only dared to hope for: that what he did for one family might reach many, and that the story of Gonali could travel far beyond the village.
Today Joy serves as Vice President and Director, leads the mission on the ground in Bangladesh and teaches at the school. He is there when the doors open in the morning and when the gifts arrive, making sure that every act of generosity becomes something a child can see and feel: a meal, a book, a classroom, a reason to hope.

Gayathri “Miduna” Sivapragasam
Sri Lanka
Miduna lives in Sri Lanka, and she came into the story at the moment the mission needed structure. Joy and Chris could see how much still had to be done: a website, formal registration, and the legal processes behind a real organization. Miduna and Chris had worked together for years, on earlier projects and in a previous company, and he knew whom to ask.
When Chris shared the story and asked whether she could help turn it into a mission, she said yes at once. Miduna is Hindu by faith. She has always believed that compassion belongs everywhere and should never be limited by religion, caste or creed, and that belief now sits at the heart of how The Yahweh Mission serves.
She began by building the website and guiding the registration process, then turned to strategy: how to reach donors, how to receive their gifts with care, and how to help a team spread across three countries work as one.
Her place in this story says something about the mission itself. A woman in Sri Lanka, a man in Ohio and a man in Bangladesh, from different backgrounds and beliefs, found that they wanted the same thing for children on the other side of the world. Miduna serves as Director and Secretary, and she keeps the mission organised, accountable and open to everyone.

Built on love
Three people, three countries and three roles: Chris in the United States, Joy in Bangladesh and Miduna in Sri Lanka, joined by one conviction, that love does not stop at borders.
They live in different time zones, follow different traditions and see the world through different eyes, yet they share a single purpose. They did not begin with a large budget or a famous name. They began with a friendship, a phone call and a village that needed help, and they trusted that if they served one community well, others would follow.
This is the world we believe in: people from different countries and beliefs choosing to stand together for one community, asking not who deserves help, only who needs it. The Yahweh Mission is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States. It serves children and families in Bangladesh today, and it plans to grow across the world into a foundation whose base is love and compassion for every person.
